GENERAL
This is the #1 question that we receive and during development this was one or our main concerns. The shape and the construction of SlipSki covers are all implemented to combat high wind speeds and ensure that your custom boat dock cover will protect your investment in a multitude of harsh environments.

Frame material is the same on all boat dock covers. Frame size will vary depending on the selected model. The Boat Garage is 1 1/2” square 1/8 thick 6061 aluminum, where the Dorado models use 3″ 3/16 square 6061 aluminum posts.

SlipSki Solutions Lifetime warranty includes the frame, all welded parts and all hardware. SlipSki Solutions will choose whether the warranty issue needs to be repaired, replaced or refunded. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear, damage caused by user error, named storms and dock failure. SlipSki Solutions will give recommendations on dock repairs needed and/or reinforcement for mounts prior to installing your product, but it is up to the end user to ensure sufficient reinforcement is added and the dock is in suitable condition.
Any damage that is caused from a failure of dock mounts due to poor dock condition or inadequate reinforcement at mounting locations will not be covered under warranty.
Cover fabric is currently covered under a 7 year manufacturer warranty.
Yes, we now sell the Mini SS JetSki Cover and the Dorado SS that is designed for a single-sided or L-Shaped dock.
Easy installation and removal of cover material. While it is possible to install one by yourself it would be highly recommended to have at least one other person to assist you.
DORADO COVER
Many customers choose not to use traditional boat covers anymore. The DORADO provides year-round shade, UV defense, rain protection and debris control — without the hassle of snapping or strapping a full cover.
Yes — pontoons and tritoons are some of the most common DORADO installations. The canopy offers full shade and debris protection for longer deck profiles.
Absolutely. The open-sided design and marine-grade height options provide excellent protection for center consoles, T-tops, electronics and leaning posts.
Yes — the DORADO is designed with higher tower clearance, making it ideal for wake, surf and ski boats. The roof profile and customizable width ensure plenty of space for tower accessories and bimini tops.
Our lifetime warranty covers the frame, welded parts and all hardware. It excludes normal wear, damage from user error, named storms or inadequate dock condition. We’ll repair, replace or refund at our discretion.
While the system is designed for durability and precision, installation does require proper dock reinforcement and basic tools. We recommend following our install guidelines and, if your dock needs work, leaving that to professionals. Note: The lifetime warranty is subject to the dock being in good condition.
Minimal. The marine-grade fabric and aluminum frame are designed for low upkeep — simply rinse occasionally, check bolts annually, and you’re set to enjoy carefree boating.
Yes — the DORADO series is fully configurable. We offer custom sizing to match your dock layout, and it can adapt to cantilever boat-lift systems if needed.
The frame is built from USA-made 6061 aluminum (posts and roof structure) and the cover uses high‐tear, high‐tensile marine-grade fabric with welded seams. The material is waterproof, UV-resistant, and anti-fungal for long-term durability.
The DORADO is engineered to stand up to 75 + mph wind speeds, thanks to our 3″ square 6061 aluminum posts, welded roof bends and lateral stainless-steel cable bracing.
FILLET TABLES
A good dock fish cleaning station is going to have ample room for you to clean. It will also keep your work station organized and safe in the process. Your bait station should be heavy-duty and capable of handling both freshwater or saltwater. Tables manufactured with marine-grade materials are a must so that it lasts a lifetime.
You can move a SlipSki fillet table and bait cleaning station should you move boat docks or houses. However, it is not suggested, unless under these circumstances. If you are looking for a portable fish cleaning station, we make a model that mounts to your car, truck, or SUVs receiver hitch. It can also be utilized as a luggage carrier.
Our fillet table awnings are made from the same material we use for our boat dock covers. While it may seem “overkill”, we design our products to last a lifetime.
Yes. SlipSki fillet tables and boat lift covers are MADE IN THE USA!
SlipSki fillet tables, both 4′, 6′ , and 8′ models are designed to be used with a variety of accessories like; knife holders and sharpeners, fishing rod holders, single, dual cup holders, and a water hose attachment. 6′ and 8′ tables have the option of a sink with starboard cover.
